It's about time!!!

It should be illegal to leave a Christmas post up until March. Kind of leaving Christmas lights up on the house for months. I apologize! Life is crazy busy here, and I just haven't had time to update it.
I'm thinking I will do a quick update on our family, because a lot of great things are happening.

David is still working for HP. Work is busy, but things are going well. He flies out soon for a round the world trip to Singapore, Shanghai, China, and Bangalore, India. He is literally flying around the world. He had to get all kinds of shots and take medicine to prevent getting sick in India, and on his return flight, he will be flying over the Middle East, so that's kind of nervous making, but I'm sure he will be ok. He is still running a Marketing Company with his brother. Business is going really well, which is good, but also bad because we don't see him a whole lot. To top things off, he is the Ward Clerk in our ward, so he spends about 8 hours at church on Sunday. His plate is pretty full.

I am busy working as a teacher's aide in 5th grade at a local Elementary School. I really enjoy working with the kids. I am looking forward to Summer, though, when I get three months off! I'm also helping out with David's Marketing company. I'm kind of his personal assistant. I keep jobs organized and ready for him, so he can spend his time designing. That keeps me pretty busy. I also spend many hours driving kids around each week. I bought a new car for better gas mileage in November, and since then I have put 12,000 miles on it! I need to slow way down, but I'm not sure quite how to do it. Well, hopefully the car will last until I pay it off, right? In the ward, I am in the Young Women's Presidency, which has always been a favorite calling of mine.

Mariasha, Jared and Quinton are doing great! Quin is so cute, and is growing so fast! When we saw him a couple of weeks ago, he was starting to roll over! They were sealed in the Salt Lake temple recently, and it was wonderful to be there with them. Mariasha is working as a cosmetologist at Great Clips, and Jared is still working for FedEx.

Jordan is turning into a man before my eyes. He is a Senior and will be graduating in June. He has been accepted to BYU and BYU Idaho, and has been given a half ride scholarship to BYU. He's thinking that's where he wants to go, so he will be leaving us in the Fall. He is busy with school, friends, his girlfriend, Alexia (a wonderful young woman), and Madrigals, his school choir. He will be headed to Florida with Madrigals in just a few weeks for a Choir competition. He's pretty excited. He is serving as the First Assistant in the Priest Quorum in the ward, and he's the great kid he's always been.

Kallai is busy with school. He spends many hours every night plowing through mountains of homework. His teachers believe that they are preparing him for High School, though none of my High Schoolers have ever had this much work to do. He's still fun and crazy, and brings a lot of fun and excitement to our family. He's currently the Secretary in the Deacon's Quorum. He's heavily involved in Scouting, and is the most successful fisherman in the troup.

Taliah has take up the flute. She is learning to play it quite well, though it's often a battle to get her to practice. She is doing well in school, and has made a couple of good friends in her class. She spends lots of time on the phone, thank goodness for unlimited minutes, because otherwise we might be in trouble.

Any way, we're still here. We're still kicking! Hopefully I will be able to post more regularly to this blog. I guess we'll see!
