Basketball

Kallai and Taliah took part in Junior Jazz this year. They had a lot of fun. David was an assistant coach for Taliah's team. This is the first year Taliah has played. Kallai has played several years, with David as his coach or assistant coach. This year he missed having his dad for a coach.

David designed some packaging for a contest for Nestle Candy. Nestle is going to repackage one of their candy bars, and if David's design gets picked, then he can say he has designed for Nestle!!! Please go vote for his package at www.adeliciousdilemma.com/vote/ His package designs are the top left design: Goobers (the one with the yellow bar and more chocolate), and the top middle design: Sno-Caps (the one with more snow). I know they look very similar... Nestle did not allow a lot of creativity. You can only vote for one, and only one vote per computer. So go vote! p.s. I think his Goobers package is the best.

Hair Stylin!

Mariasha has been in Cosmetology school since the beginning of the school year in August. She decided for her senior year to skip the high school experience. She has a crazy hectic schedule. She starts out by getting up early for Early Morning Seminary at the High School. It starts at 6:40. After that, she goes to 1st Period, which is Ballroom on A days and English on B days. After that she drives to Capelli Cosmetology Academy in Pleasant Grove. She attends there Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. After that she rushes to work at the Thanksgiving Point Deli where works until 10 p.m. Then she heads home to crash into bed, so she can wake up in time to get ready for Seminary the next morning.

It's a pretty crazy schedule, but it's worth it. She really loves to do hair, and to get her hair done. She's had an amazing variety of hairstyles and colors.

Here the school is having an "80's Day". Notice the mohawk? Yeah, that won't be staying long.
